Congratulations to ‘Grandpa’ Clive!

CliveM

On behalf of everyone at Saint Barnabas church I hereby send hearty congratulations to our Arch-Deacon Clive Mansell and his wife Jane, who are rejoicing at the birth of a first grand-child. Holly Megan Metcalf is fit and healthy and sure to grow up with much love from her doting grandparents! Enjoy the photographs and thanks, as ever, to Fr. Clive for all his support. I am sure that caring for this adorable little girl is much more fun that chairing the Revision Committee of the General Synod…and easier as well!

  1. Thanks for the pictures; One of the great pleasures of this year (apart from spending time with your good self) has been working with Clive on finding a Rector for Gerrard’s Cross, one of our largest conregations. His wisdom, good humour, sense of proportion and shrewd prayerfulness helped make a potentially fiddly piece of work a pleasure and a joy. It’s good to know (as Billy Graham used to say) the Lord has blessed him real good…

  2. Fr Barry Tomlinson says:

Congratulations, Clive. I’m sure its MUCH easier than chairing that committee, and trying to keep these Anglos happy!
