Happy days!

Great news for all who worship at Saint Barnabas’-the heating has been fixed and is now working as per usual!! Tomorrow I shall celebrate the 8am Mass – as is my obligation and delight- but shall not be present for the Solemn Mass at 10am, this being my post-Christmas break. Father Derek Taylor will be officiating in my place.

The photograph above was taken last night at a dinner party hosted for good friends Laurence & Zoe Taylor, who also live in Tunbridge Wells. It was not fancy dress, as you might think, we merely stumbled accross the wigs in an upper room and donning them seemed a good idea as the booze was flowing freely!

A happy new (secular) year to you all and may 2010 be a blessed time for you. I leave you with a final photograph taken during our New Year’s Day celebrations, a simple shot of father and daughter enjoying some time together.

Yes almost ‘back’ to normal! The healing is proving as sudden as the onset, which is a blessing. The modern advice to keep moving is spot on, and rest, medication and prayer do wonders!

Couldnt possibly be anything to do with liquid morphine??? with ice and a slice of course!! anyway glad to see Jemima is having fun with daddy. I suppose it wont be long until you have 2 little people to contend with.
