I Am currently attending a conference in Walsinham where there is no wifi connection and a very weak phone signal. Full report and blog posts will resume from Friday…why our Lady could not have visited somewhere with better internet access I will never know!!!

Maybe because she speaks quietly, and wanted you to listen to her rather than the babble of internet voices. Have a good Conference. +E
There is wi-fi (albeit a bit flakey, and unless it has broken down) in the Norton Café Bar under the refectory for a donation of (at least) £1 per hour. I found it best to write my posts, emails &c and then pay my £1, log on and wait for everything to upload. Not brilliant, but better than nothing. As to the phone, I find – ironically – that Orange provides reasonable coverage in Walsingham, outdoors at least.
No wonder god seems so helpless when it comes to major catastrophes when he can’t even seem to help sort out a simple wi-fi problem.
You have been blessed, Fr Ed.
I think she has already demonstrated that wi-fi is surplus to her requirements!
